Avoiding contamination: How to collect pure bee pollen

Sep 18, 2024

The supreme superfood, bee pollen, is nothing other than a life sustaining mineral substance collected by the bees from the pollen sacs of flower blossoms. At Zorue, we understand the significance of harvesting the high quality bee pollen. This is the reason why we ensure the application of great collection techniques so that, all the bee pollen that we sell is flawless.

To obtain clean sources of pure bee pollen, our first step is to select the nicely looking flowers for the collection. We highly ensure that the flowers we pick are clean and free from pesticides and other chemicals so that the final product is as healthy as it gets. This self imposed limitation on the sources of fungal allergens that we are willing to use is our commitment to fulfilling this promise of sourcing flower that produce the best bee pollen for us.

All through the period of collection of bee pollen, we have followed protocols and procedures that have been created to ensure that there is no contamination of any sort. That means, using clean tools and better still controlling the surrounding air to prevent possible pollution of the pollen with dirt. These measures are indeed very stringent, and are indicative of how far we are willing to go in ensuring you receive a bee pollen that is as fresh as the day it was harvested.

Once the bee pollen is collected, it goes through a careful drying process, which ensures that the nutrients in the pollen are retained. We then refrigerate the pollen with string lid containers until the order is quickly enough delivered to our customers. This last step of our process cannot be underestimated in sustaining the quality and effectiveness of our bee pollen after the order is placed.

At Zorue, by the standards of our collection and handling, the bee pollen we present to the clients is richly nutritional but free of any contaminants that could be harmful to health.
